Hi,

I saw a sentence recently that used the backward structure. Can someone, please, explain why it used backward form?

An array of tax incentives has led to a boom in the construction of new office buildings; so abundant has capital been for commercial real estate that investors regularly scour the country for areas in which to build.

thanks.

backward construction is about the sentence structure. I don't think there is any problem using backward construction. if I'm not wrong, it is one of the most testable form in SC with opening -ing modifier.
I'm no expert, just trying to work on my skills. If I've made any mistakes please bear with me.

thanks, I think that you must have a reason to use backward. As far as I know, not using a backward structure will help a sentence to be more clearer. And one purpose of SC section is to choose a choice that is clear and concise.
