Why does GMAC make us fill school names before the exam ?

This just seems a money-making gimmick. If they would have let us fill the school names where we want to send our scores, after the exam, we can adjust the schools as per our score. I filled up HBS, Wharton etc., with high hopes and based on my prep scores, and ended up making dismal 610 on actual GMAT.
Now I will have to pay extra to send my scores to schools accepting scores around 600 :-(

In the end it doesn't matter whether you fill out school codes before or after your exam. The schools are going to see all your GMAT scores in the last five years anyway.

My advice is to always fill out.

I agree. Yes, the schools are going to see all of my scores. But, my dilemma is that in my case I would have only targeted schools where the average gmat scores are around 600. And since I do not know my score when they make me fill schools, I chose random schools (or the ones close to my GMATPrep score, which varied 70+ points than my actual score).
