The orator put most of the audience, WHICH was uninterested in the lecture, to sleep.

Do we need to use WHICH here? I think we should use WHO.

Thoughts?

which cannot be the one.
but whom should be the answer.

because,
the most of the audience (object, not subject)

try googling the same... you will find many sentences where "audience" takes both "who" and "which"....

thats ok. We should know when to use WHICH and when to use WHO/WHOM.

i think which can only apply to inanimate things (i.e non living)

i could be wrong
