There is a difference in the way the term turnover and the term revenue IS/ARE used in business across the Atlantic.

Answer: ARE

There is a difference in the way .............is used in business...
[It does not make sense because the last is is not verb of way; there must be something after way.]

There is a difference in the way X and Y are used in business...
