Hello,
I gave my GMAT on 9.6.08 and i score 450 32 in quant and 20 in verbal. I was shocked and depressed to see that. Because all this while i was scoring between 520 and 550.
I do plan to give my gmat again next month. But i would like to know which schools can i apply with 450 gmat.

CAn you pls guide me. And how can i justify my low score on my essays. I have been a good student with 3.25 avg GPA in undergrad. I have 2 years of work experience. I am lloking for US universities only!!!!
Thanks

Dear chef26,

I'm not sure if you want to go to business school in the US, the EU or Asia. With your current score, it is unlikely you will receive an offer of admission from schools in the global top 50. However, if you are not concerned with rankings, then there could be some small programs out there for you. The best way to know if you are competitive is to look at the average GMAT for the school. If you are close to or above the average, then you have a good chance of being admitted.

Good luck,
Lisa

Thankyou Lisa,
I am aware of what you just suggested. My question was what kind of schools??? and i am not looking for top 50 because i do not want to spend lot of money on branded universities.

Well, for 450 score on GMAT you would be able to apply for average public business schools, such as:
LSUS, EWU, UL at Lafayette and Monroe, UNK, TAMU at Commerce,...
Although they are offer low tuition rates even for international students.
