MGMAT SC is too technical and too caught up in explaining the grammatical terms which I find to be useless. sometimes the explanations are too technical(grammatically) and not to the point conceptually. Is there an alternate source/book for SC than MGMAT?

I agree that it is condense.

That's an oxymoron.

I believe you have problem with Manhattan SC as it is too dense.
You can use Powerscore SC. I have heard it is less dense and more "basic and conceptual"(as quoted by you).

Also, you can use a grammar book, if required.

You may even use Aristotle SC Grail, its quite to the point and exam oriented.
