Which are the top 1year MBA programs?

by moonshine » Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:31 am
Hello all consultants,

I'm in the process of shortlisting my schools - and want to ask you how you would rank the 1 year MBA programs available globally.

Please consider that I do not have a UG background in Engineering or Business or Economics. (I do have 8+ years of work experience).

What are their key considerations? Do they ask for lower GMAT scores?

This list should help everyone on the forum - I am sure many people like me can't take out 2 years to study for various reasons.

Thanks a bunch! :)

PS: couldn't find this info on the forum, if it exists please send me the link!

Hi M,
Not sure if there is a list (although I believe I have seen one), but I know Columbia, Northwestern, Duke (?), Emory have accelerated programs. But I am sure other top 25 MBA programs offer similar.

Regards,

N

Is it that the 1 year MBA program foucs more on work experience?
I found that the average work experience in 1 year MBA is longer but the gmat score is lower when compare with the regular MBA.
