Hello All,

I want to take the Gmat within 6 months but I have been out of college for 3 years. My math skills were terrible to begin with so I will honestly have to start with a very low math. What books or trainings would you suggest I do to get good enough at math to take the Gmat? Thank you so much!

A lot of students start out where you are, especially if they've been out of school for a significant amount of time. It's not unusual for a student to need to re-learn skills like long division. Although I'm sure that there are books out there that break math down to the most basic building blocks for GMAT, I haven't seen them. To reach the basic skills level that GMAT books usually assume you already possess, I'd suggest picking up an SAT text that deals with math skills for high school. Those will usually help you to regain the knowledge that you've lost and get you on track to build on them while prepping for the GMAT.

I was also in the same boat. I picked up CLIFFS TEST PREP, MATH REVIEW FOR STANDARDIZED TESTS.
It briefly covers all basic math. It's a small book so I could bring it with me daily and work on a few pages whenever I had some spare time. You might also want to pick up some high school math textsbooks. There are a number of websites when you can purchase older version of textbooks for $5
