hi,
I know second part of my question will evoke diff answers but diff people but still..
i have been preparing for abt a month now and plan to take the exam arnd april (or may be before tht).
i took Kaplan's diag test early in Jan and scored 640, just took Veritas free test and scored 660(V43,Q40).
The veritas score surprised me for 2 diff reasons. Quant which i always thought was better between the both - i messed up. (9 wrong)no excuses as to why they went wrong, i couldnt get thm right, thts it.
Now the second one, V40 also amazed me. I did not expect to reach 40 on my second test. Verbal is a tough nut for me. IS the Veritas test misguiding me
Can someone please clarify this point?
Also as both my verbal and quant scores (according to the veritas prep) hover around the same lines, what should be my line of strategy now? Quant i always loved and can sure work upon more (not tht i hate studying for verbal, but quant is always exciting)
One more thing, how frequently should one take practise tests as part of their preparation? I took one todayas I wanted to test my stamina for over 4 hours (i did the issue part of the AWA,skipedthe argument).
One thing abt timing here, i finished the kaplan one (both sections) well before time and Verabal part in Veritas finished when i still had 217 mins to go
. this is a problem for me, time managemnt in a wrong way. i have had this problem all my life when it comes to standardized tests, i finish it as if someones hitting me frm behind
any advise?
as i still have time for my actual test, looking out to build some startegy to overcome all these,or am i reading too much nto these scores?
apologies for a long post, but i need sum advice here.
