Last month (5th of May), I took my first GMAT. My preparation was about three months. I was confident with my quantitative, but not sure about my Verbal, since English is not my first language. Therefore, I did almost all the verbal questions in OG12, read the Manhattan guide for SC. The results were 28/35 for RC, 69/100 for SC, and 70/90 for CR.
I also tried the GMATprep, the score is 700-730.

When the verbal started, I found it hard to read from computer screen. Since all the OG is paper-based, and there was only two simulated test in GMATprep. Sometimes, I found myself daydreaming in the test, because I couldn't concentrate reading those passages in screen, and it ended up I have to guess the answer.

At that moment, the score came out. I was shocked. I had Q50, V26
I was doomed by Verbal, overall score 640 ! I was targetting at 700. Few weeks later I received the AWA results, and the score is only 4.0.

I'm planning to retake the GMAT, knowing this imbalance between Q & V. But, I don't have any idea how to restart. I did all the practice in OG, and I don't know when I should retake, knowing the application round is coming soon (September). Since my score in Q is good enough, I will focus my time studying Verbal.

Please! Help me to beat the GMAT, I know I can, I just need guidance.
