Hi gang,

I am interested in signing-up for an on-demand course. I've heard a lot of good things about Veritas. What sets Veritas apart from the others, like Magoosh, Knewton or GMAT Pill?

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

I can not speak to the other services, but I can attest to my four years of experience at Veritas. The staff at Veritas continues to have a 100% focus on applicant success. Veritas is consistently working on ways to improve your candidacy by educating not only applicants but also consultants. All consultants at Veritas are top-10 (top-20) MBAs, most with admissions experience. You are being mentored by people who have been through this successfully. For instance, I applied to 8 of the top 10 programs and was accepted to 7 of 8 (thank you Stanford for denying me- LOL); my strategies are something I feel a calling to share with applicants, I feel a passion to mentor others as I was mentored during my process. I think the Veritas team shares that passion.

Best of luck-

Hi Ratdog,

I purchased the on-demand course a few weeks ago, and I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying it. I had some experience with Magoosh, and while it was helpful, it seemed to be more about memorization of equations and rules than anything else. The aspect of Veritas I like the most is that it is based on Bloom's Taxonomy of learning. Veritas makes sure you know all the equations and rules needed (which is their Skillbuilder section), but they also teach the ability to put strategy around that knowledge (Skills Meets Strategy), and how to recognize the ways the test makers try to mislead you into a wrong answer choice (Think Like the Test Maker). In other words, Veritas doesn't just teach you memorization (which is the bottom layer of Bloom's Taxonomy), they train you multiple layers up, such as the ability to recognize patters and manipulate information.

I hope this helps at least a little!
