Hello I started my preparation for the GMAT a week ago and now I have the Official study guide for the GMAT 13th edition. I was wondering what other books would you recommend?

I'm aiming for a score above 600 and also I am taking the test on April 4.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions because I really need a good preparation.

And also is the GMATPrep® Question Pack 1 worth the buy?

I'm sorry for posting again, but please somebody answer my first post, I really do need help because there are so many books out there about the GMAT and I can't make the choice which one to buy. I want a solid preparation for 600+ score. Please advice what prep books you used or suggest using for a solid preparation?

Everybodies opinion would be greatly appreciated. Btw I'm taking the GMAT on April 4.

You can see the various books reviewed on this forum here : https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/store/books

I would go for MGMAT set, or atleast the SC, Number Properties, Geometry and Word Problems book. But you can go for any major prep company and they will cover most of the material tested. I suggest reading the reviews and making up your mind, or using the search feature on the forum for the information as this has been discussed various times.

Hey there:

To me, it's less about the specific books (although I obviously have a bit of a bias to the ManhattanGMAT books!!) That said, the most important thing for you at this stage is you should really invest some time in developing a super-solid study plan.

I've going to include a few links below -- I'd suggest you take some time to read and figure out how you want to structure the next two months of your planning for the GMAT.
