Hi Vjesus12.

Let's take a look at each statement.
(1) The retail price of the calculator is $2.00 more than the wholesale price.
This information does not tell us the exact retail price because we can get several situations, for example,

(i) If the wholesale price was $5 then the retail price was $7.
(ii) If the wholesale price was $2 then the retail price was $4.

Since we don't get a unique answer we conclude that this statement is NOT SUFFICIENT.
(2) The retail price of the calculator is 50 percent more than the $4.00 wholesale price.
Here we are told that the wholesale price is $4.

Since the retail price is 50% more, then the retail price of the calculator is given by $$4+4\cdot50\%\ =\ 4+2\ =\ 6\ dollars.$$ Since we've got a unique answer, then this statement is SUFFICIENT.

So, the correct answer is the option _B_.

Hope it helps.
