HERE R MY 2 CENTS, HOWEVER, I NEED EXPERTS TO CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG..
A) Having glanced at the newspaper, I laid it aside. I THINK THE STATEMENT IS INCORRECT AND IT SHOULD BE "HAVING GLANCED BY ME, THE NEWSPAPER WAS SET ASIDE(BY ME)."
(THIS IS A PASSIVE STATEMENT)
B) I had glanced at the newspaper and laid it aside. (IT IS A SEQUENCE OF 2 ACTIONS..GLANCING PRECEDES LAYING..)
C) I had glanced at the newspaper and then laid it aside. (SAME AS 2ND STATEMENT, BUT then IS UNNECESSARY.)
