Currently there are 3 books on GMAT by Kaplan, and all of them are almost similar.

1. GMAT Premier 2011 978-1-4195-4989-2
$39.99, comes with a CD.

2. GMAT Premier 2010-2011 Edition 978-1-60714-270-6
$39.99, comes with a CD.

3. GMAT Strategies, practice & review 2011 978-1-4195-5368-4

$22.99 No CD, but some online access

Could you please tell the difference between them?

Thanks,

Hi piyushk,

GMAT Premier and SPR both feature a comprehensive overview of the GMAT with strategies, practice, and review on each part of the exam.

With a CD, robust online companion, and 6 practice tests, Premier offers extensive practice. The online companion features Fast Fact videos, access to free Live Online courses, a diagnostic quiz, and more.

With two practice tests and no CD, SPR is more streamlined and is offered at a more affordable price point. The strategies, practice, and review within the book is the same as Premier.

The 2011 editions are the most up to date.

I hope this helps--let me know if you have any other questions!

thanks Eli for the response.

So if I'm getting it right there is no difference between the below 2 books:

1. GMAT Premier 2011 978-1-4195-4989-2
$39.99, comes with a CD.

2. GMAT Premier 2010-2011 Edition 978-1-60714-270-6
$39.99, comes with a CD.

**And what kind of free Live Online courses does the CD provides access to? Are they the same as Kaplan Live Online GMAT course?
** Is there any time limitation of the online materials, practice tests, diagnostic quiz, Fast Fact videos?

For SPR book what special does the code in the book provides?

Thanks,
Piyush

Sorry for the delay; I'm not to familiar with the Strategies book, so I'm double checking these answers!
