{4, 6, 3, y} If the mode of the list of numbers above is 3, then what is the average (arithmetic mean) of the list?

A. 7
B. 3
C. 4
D. 9
E. 12

The OA is C.

If the mode is 3, then we know that "y" must be 3, right?

So, the 4 numbers in the list are {4, 6, 3, 3}

Hence, the average will be,

(4 + 6 + 3 + 3)/4 =16/4 = 4.

Experts, any suggestion about this PS question? Thanks in advance.
