I just want to know the approaches to solve such questions as:

6 coins are tossed or a coin is tossed 6 times, what is the probability of not getting the same outcome on two consecutive tosses.

This is an "and" probability problem, so you multiply the probabilities.

Take the probability of each consecutive desired action, and multiply them together to find your total probability that the sequence will take place.
