I just got my official score report - test taker copy. Is all the information exactly the same as the schools will get?

I'm kind of freaked that I didn't use a more professional email address to register for the GMAT with, I had no idea that that info was going to the schools (I also used a fake phone number). I'm also just freaked out since they said schools can get a picture of you from the testing center. I think I would have dressed up more... it looked like a mug shot.

The GMAT website says scores are sent out to schools 20 days later. Do you think they would change the info if I called them up Monday? I just got done changing all the info to how I want it on their website.

Thanks in advance...

I wouldn't freak out too much - I doubt the AdCom cares about things like phone numbers or email addresses. That should have zero impact on your application. Plus it's very unlikely they'll request your picture - and nobody dresses up for the GMAT anyways :-)

Relax...

(ps: Why would you give them a fake phone number in the first place?)

Force of habit of putting in all 5s for my phone number for websites... and out of habit I sign up for most online accounts with my spam email address... :(

The schools will focus on the score when viewing your GMAT report. They will look to your application for contact information and other personal details.

Do they look at the GPA that we report to the gmac as well? I have given a scaled GPA that does not accurately represent a US equivalent. I am concerned because the one that i reported is quite abysmal.

If you self-reported a GPA that is significantly lower than your actual GPA, then you should make sure the school has the corrected information.

Hi,

I have just updated my GPA in the GMAC website. Will the change be reflected in the GMAT Score report that will henceforth be sent to schools in the future? I am planning to start applying and (hence start sending gmat score reports to schools) only after 2 years.

Thanks for your help!
