I keep seeing many profiles being listed out. Well how does a MBA college determine if the person is really interested in the management art. Or is a good profile enough to get into a college? I am confused. I dont know if my profile is really upto the standards in the international arena where my interest lies.
Academics (all in percentages) - 10th - 91%
12th - 95%
undergrad - 81%
Have a 3 year experience. Youngest in my office to lead a team. Started leading a team with a 1 n half year experience. Leadership abilities shown right from school days till undergrad days and continuing in Office. Good extra curricular show in dramatics and stuff, nil in sports.
Yet to take gmat. Thinking of taking it in sept 2012.
Where do i stand? Please do help me with my confusions and evaluate my profile.
What does it take to get into a good college?

Well, you seem off to a good start. Always being at the top of the heap is your first step to showing that you can make it in a good program. Yet, it also depends on lots of other things, like your achievements and responsibilities, the number of people you lead, your industry, the country you live in, how much international experience you have, what sort of awards/fellowships etc. you have gotten.
Just as important is of course how well you write, and your ability to present a cohesive and ambitious career vision that would be believable to the Adcom.
I know, lots of things to do at once.
Oh yeah, and there's also the GMAT, of course, and the TOEFL. But you already know about that
So the answer is that: EVERYthing is evaluated. And you try and get everything as good as you can.
