Hi,

Please evaluate my chances at NYU Sterns part time MBA program.

Undergraduate: Seton Hall University, GPA: 3.28 BS-Finance (2013)

Graduate Classes: Columbia University, GPA: 3.6 - Graduate Business Certificate (2015)

GMAT: 560

Work Experience:

Goldman Sachs: Analyst - Asset Management - Jan 2015 to Present

Prudential Investment Management: Associate/Senior Associate - May 2013 to December 2014 (1yr 6 months)

Hi -- everything looks good here, as far as I can see, except for that GMAT... but you knew that. Stern's part-time program doesn't post an average GMAT, but while I have seen successful candidates whose GMATs are in the 600s,it's taking quite a risk to apply with a GMAT that is below 600. What is your reason for targeting the part-time program? A lot of times, like any top business school, having deep knowledge of the Stern and strong reasons for choosing that particular program and configuration can add a lot to your overall chances of admission.
