Hello Experts,

I appeared for my GMAT on the 3rd of December 2011. Scored a 730 on my first attempt. I am targeting for the top 10 schools. I have good academics. But work experience is a ding. I just have 1.5 years of work experience as a Software Engineer at an Indian IT Giant. Also, Im only 23.

What are my chances of getting into the top schools?

Also, I'm in no rush to go for my MBA. The main reason I appeared for GMAT early was that I could build my profile based on my score and also based on the kind of profile that would be preferred by the adcoms.

Please suggest me a way forward. Should I apply right away or should I wait for a year or two?

I may not be replying to your question, but I have something to ask you. You have a very nice score. I am also going to start preparing for GMAT and this is my first post on this forum. I want to ask you, what study materials did you use? I mean books, forums, websites, etc.
Please give me some suggestions.
