will go for C
not sure why I will select that option. may be stylistically it is looking good or maybe it is giving much stress & importance to the reason.
Just started my preparation :D
Want to do it right the first time.

C contains 'one reason' that the original sentence intends to convey - the same is not clear from D. It appears as if the reason mentioned in D is the only reason.
