Hi i had applied to wp carey in round 2 and got waitlisted.Later i was rejected.I saw people with my profile who applied in round 1 mostly get in even with full scholarships. There were lot of waitlists in round 2.I like supply chain managment and iam even thinking of waiting nxt yr and re appplying. As of now i have offers from BYU also.Do u all think it is a wise idea to wait nxt yr and apply to carey?Note-Since wp carey gave full scholarships to some students this yr they may have a high number of applicants nxt yr

My profile is GMAT -680.
Work exp 5 yrs
1.5 yrs as an assistant manager in a private company and 3.5 yrs in technology consulting including a supply chain project.
Graduate in engineering.Good co- curriculars and community involvement.AN appreciation award from the Cheif information officer of by client too. Please advice

Well, I'd say that it depends on you. How happy are you with your offer? Would you regret not taking another shot at Carey? Do you mind working another year at the same place? What sort of improvements can you make to your profile in the meanwhile when you apply R1? What other schools would you now apply to R1? (and yes R1 does give you a good advantage, so you can also add 4-5 more schools you like, and likely end your application season with more offers than last year).

These are the first questions I would ask myself before coming to a full decision.
