Hello Everybody,

I am planning to apply to Vlerick School of Business Management (Belgium) for the September intake 2010. The finiancial times have rated the school as 10th best in Europe.

I need your opinion regarding the school in general and, if anyone is aware of the on campus assessment process?

Awaitng a reply.
Thanks & Regards
Arti

Hi Arti,

The Economist also rates this school very highly (10th rank, globally). It wasn't after this ranking that I noticed this 'kind of obscure' college.

I looked up their site and, based on my research, they are very good with in the EU. I could not find a lot of info on other B-school related sites and forums about this school, but whatever little was found pointed to the following:
- Good presence in EU
- Excellent value for money, with its low fees and high starting salaries.
- Diverse student body (which is not uncommon these days) and internal exposure.

For someone like you (from Germany), this might be a good option. Their admission requirements are also slightly different with the on-campus variant.

I would still be interested in more information on this college. I could not find any detailed career statistics on their website. For me it will be interesting to know how many students end up working in US and where. So if someone has more information please do add to this thread.

Cheers,
Arun Anand

Hello Arun,

First of all, I would like to extend my apologies for not able to reply at the earliest. Secondly, thanks a lot for your advice and comments on the school. Even, I noticed that not much has been discussed about this school in forums and this lead to my apprehensions and therefore, I wanted to gather more information before I apply.

Well, as you said that the school has a good presence in EU and a good value for money, I do agree with you. Moreover, since I am in Germany, it will be a good option for me - in terms of visa and culture.

Anyways, it was a pleasure to receive your reply on my question. Hope to hear more from you on this subject.
Thanks & Regards
Arti
