To answer the question, we need the value of x.

Let's take each statement one by one.

(1) 150 is x percent greater than 5x.

=> (150 – 5x)/5x = x%
Upon solving, we get x = –6 or 5. No unique value of x. Insufficient.

(2) x > 0

Certainly insufficient.

(1) and (2) together

x = 5. Sufficient.

The correct answer: C
