"it" does not have any antecedent - A,B,E out
"and" is not appropriate to show contrast + we don't know 14% of <WHAT>. we cannot assume "14 of world wine" because of LACK of parallelism - D out

I think that this should say "More than 17% of the worlds' wine production"

As you can see parallelism and clarity are really the issues here. It is clear in C that we are talking about wine produced in Spain that is 14% of all the wine in the world.

I would say it is based on an official question and designed to test the same thing as the official question that I have referenced above.

It can be useful to see the same concept tested in different contexts so that you are ready to recognize the underlying issues.
