Hi Guys & Gals,

I wrote GMAT already in Aug'11 and scored 560(Q45, V22). In mock's i was scoring around 27 in Verbal. No serious preparation after that. Now i want to write again in March'12, but finding difficult to surpass 28 in Verbal. Quant's i've reached 47(I've not understood co-ord geometry, hope this will improve with better understanding co-ord geo).

I'm struggling especially with SC and Rc. CR i feel i'm okay.

Pl. suggest what should i do now. Any books should i go through on sc & Rc.

For SC, go for Manhattan SC. Its the best.

For RC, you yourself choose what exactly you are looking for - practice questions or theory. These are the three good books for RC out there :

If you haven't stopped skimming RC passages for the answer, try that. One student I worked with had a 35% jump overnight in accuracy when he switched his approach from skimming the passage to 1) reading the first and last sentence of each paragraph to better understand what the passage as a whole was doing, then 2) reading the passage carefully and taking some notes.

His approach was very time-consuming, but his accuracy continued to increase afterward.
