Question is correct and I assume answer is missing one "0".

Solution:

Any combination of 2 letters from 10 (where the letter can be the same one repeated) is 10x10=100 possibilities. For each of those there will be any number between 00 and 99, which is also 100 possibilities. Therefore a possible total of 100x100=10,000 products.

Otherwise for current answer, there must be only "1" digit which gives you 100 * 10 = 1000
