VERITAS VS. JAMBOREE !!

Hi there,

I'm from new delhi (india) & during the past few days have been trying to narrow down on a prep course. Finally all said &

done , i 've narrowed down to Veritas & Jamboree & dunno which one i should go for.

Jamboree enjoys a good reputation in gmat coaching in delhi but, personally i found the glowing reviews of Veritas

helpful so thought of giving it a go.

Can u please help me as i'm looking for a wholistic approach rather than a lop-sided one focussing heavily on quant(as is

the case in Jamboree)

Appreciate your help in advance

I would say that veritas is a more professional GMAT institute than Jamboree. It is also widely reputed than Jamboree. As you said, Jamboree relies too heavily on quants. Whereas, Veritas could give you a right mix of content.

I took the veritas course. It is a great course. Their verbal is the best in the business.

Hi,

I would like to inform all aspiring GMAT takers - DO NOT EVER GO TO JAMBOREE. The main reason why they have been able to be in the business till now is just because of their question bank.

But now, I have seen that poor quality of the online portal they provide which contains few mocks and practice papers. Many of the answers are WRONG.

Moreover, at many instances, the correct answer option they tell differs from the options they give in explanations. This adds to the confusion and frustration on them.

I had emailed JAMBOREE of this as well. Sincerely, do not ever try JAMBOREE.
