Verbal Help - Pacing

by Donkey_man_88 » Tue Dec 16, 2008 9:12 am
Hey All,

I do really well on Verbal in all of my practice tests, but have had a hard time during the real GMAT exam. I guess this is for anyone who scored 35+ on the real exam. Do you nail every single question or at least think that you nail every question or do some questions seem somewhat difficult? Do you have to guess at any time (Strategically guess I mean) during the exam? Which areas do you find most difficult? I think SC throws in a lot of tricky questions, and RC can be very time consuming. Basically, I'm trying to figure out if it's the pacing/timing or whether I need to improve my ability in those areas. Obviously, if I'm lagging behind in time, then I can always improve in my ability, but I'm not looking for 45+. I've scored very highly and the lowest that I received was a 35 in Verbal, but can't get higher than a 28 on the real thing. Any help is greatly appreciated.
