In the figure shown, what is the value of x?
(1) y = x
(2) z = x
Ans: A, but i m getting C

am getting C as well
x=a+c (sum of two interior opposite angles of the triangle)
y=b+c
z=a+b
x+y+z=2.180=360

stmnt 1: x=y
gives 2x+z=360. cant find x. not sufficient.

stmnt 2: z=x
gives 2x+y=360, camt find x, not sufficient

together, 3x=360 or x=120 hence C
