If n is an integer and 100 < n <200, what is the value of n?
(1) n/36 is an odd integer.
(2) n/45 is an even integer.

Statement (1) : n can be 36 or 108 or 180

Not Sufficient

Statement (2) : n can be 90 or 180

Not Sufficient

Combine

n has to be 180. Hence Sufficient.

Referring to the post above, statement 2 gives us n can be 90 or 180. Also the question stem says 100<n<200. Thus can only be 180 from statement 2 alone.

Hence B.

Am I missing something?

It should be B.

Aj5105, you used 135 as an alternative option to 180 in statement 2, but 135 would divided by 45 is an odd number and does not meet requirement.

The answer must be B.

S1: n/36 is an odd integer.
it means that n should be odd no. multiple of 36.
36*1 = 36
36*3 =108
36*5 =180
36*7 = 252
Because n is between 100 < n <200 therefore from S1 we can get two values 108 and 180. So what can be the value of n?
it can be 108 or 180..cannot say. So S1 alone is insufficient.

S2: n/45 is an even integer.
it means that n should be even no. multiple of 45.

45*2=90
45*4=180
45*6=210

n is between 100 and 200, therefore S2 only gives one result i.e. 180. So S2 alone is sufficient.
