(B) reading, having met with no opposition <- Having met doesn't sound correct imo

(C) reading, without the opposition of others <- Opposition of Others .. use of other is making things wordy..

(D) reading, and has not met with opposition <- Parallel is use of HAS.... Correct

(E) reading without opposition <- opposition is to be faced by principal .. not the reading..
