HI,

I have started preparing for the GMAt a week back.To start off the preperation i took the veritas gmat test and i scored just a meager 510(q-42,v=14).I know its just the start but i was not expecting such a bad score to start with.

I am presently working in an automobile organisation where i have to travel abroad frequently for weeks. So taking a prep course with an institute wont be possible .The only option left with me is self preperation. I am referring the OG which is considered the bible.

The advice i seek from the members of this forum is how should i go about my preperation for the GMAT i plan to take the GMAT by the end of May just to avoid the new format of GMAT so i have got a good 4 and a half months to prepare.I am very determined to score more than 750 and get into a good business school.

Kindly advise what should i do in such a case where only self preperation is possible. What all books should i refer to strengthen my verbal section score.

Please reply with your valuable comments.

Regards
Raghav
