I know it must be a real shocker for you but lets accept that and look ahead

A few things you may give a once over to

1. Did you attempt essay and integrated reasoning in all practise tests?

Most of us undermine the importance of essay and integrated reasoning however we must acknowledge that they are included in the test for a purpose. If one directly heads to quant, skipping the initial hour, one would be comparatively attentive and is likely to score better. Make sure you always take complete tests and allow yourself only permitted breaks.

2. Study material- what and how?

Choosing the right material is critical. Currently the market is flooded with sources and resources which makes it very difficult to make a choice. You may take professional help; go for a recommended institute.

Alternatively, you may refer to Gmat OG and verbal review. Do questions and make sure you read all explanations (yes! for the correct ones too). At the end, it doesn't matter how many things you cover, what matters is 'how' you cover them. Right approach is the key.

Always have a reason to chuck an option.

3. Did you follow any approach for verbal questions?

Like quant, verbal also works with a set of rules and these fundamentals play a vital role in choosing the right answer.

Moreover, I feel one month is too short a period to take the test again, especially when you're looking at an improvement of 220 points and so unless it's really necessary to take it within a month.... Take your time and prepare!
