University of Miami and my Gmat

by hanssolo » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:55 am
Hi, so I've been taking practice GMATs and have only been able to get 540-560 scores. I'm taking the real test later this month.

Do I have a shot at the MBA program at the University of Miami?

Little background: I have a 3.0 undergrad GPA, went to a Top 20 university for my undergrad, and have 5 years work experience at 2 major consulting companies with leadership experience.

Any help or tips are appreciated!

Everything looks good for you, but you might think about retaking the GMAT to get it over their average and median which are 590 and 600.

Thanks! I'm taking my first real GMAT later this month. I guess I just need some confidence :), but say I get around a 560, would that eliminate my chances of being admitted?
