Univ. of Houston ( Evening MBA)

by smar83 » Mon Aug 17, 2009 9:41 am
Hello,

Lisa you are based out of Houston, and I am sure you must have seen many applicants applying to Rice or Univ. Of Houston.

I am particularly interested in applying for the Evening MBA program offered by the C.T Bauer College of Business. By looking at all the trends in applications, is there anything specific they look for ?

I have 3.5 yrs of work experience in the field of energy and I am really interested to get their Energy MBA.

Thanks in advance,
Sid.

Dear Sid,

The Bauer School is a great Executive MBA for Houston folks. They look for the same qualities and attributes that any other Executive MBA program would look for, so nothing new or different there. Your work experience and rationale for business school are key elements in your application as well as the GMAT/GPA to indicate your ability to do the coursework. The university is committed to having a top-notch business school, so there has been lots of resources utilized in recent years to improve the school. If you haven't already, I highly encourage you to visit the campus and attend class to get some valuable insight into the program.

Best of luck,
Lisa
