I am finishing a Veritas Prep Class this week. Scores of tests Below

Kaplan Book Test (Paper not CAT) - 12/18 - 560
GMATPrep #1 CAT - 1/10 - 640 (Forgot the breakdown)
GMATPrep #2 CAT - 1-22 - 570 (36Q 32V) [i]Hadn't done much studying at all[/i]
Veritas Prep 2/23 - 680 (48Q 38V) [i]After studying Quant much more[/i]

Can anyone testify to Veritas Prep score accuracy? I am getting the notion that the quant is usually easier but would like to hear some feedback.

Any Suggestions on different companies tests to work with or other practice tests?

I have been studying quant a lot lately because it comes much easier to me. Usually during a test I know when I get it right rather then being unsure of an answer almost always in the verbal section. Any advice or guides for sentence correction? Seems to be what is holding me back in the Verbal department. Your thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.

My best advice for SC is to really study the handul of common grammatical error types and get good at spotting them in sentences. That's really the key to doing well - having, for example, a potential pronoun error jump out at you.

Study this by doing problems and really analyzing each sentence you do, trying to align the wrong answers with violations of those grammatical rules.

The thing to remember about practice tests is they are all just guesses as to how the actual GMAT works. The actual GMAT has a margin of error of 30 points, so you can imagine that even the best practice test has a larger one.

That said, most of my past students have found the Veritas tests pretty accurate. I would say that this is likely true for you as well, given that you scored 640 on the a GMAT Prep test before studying so much.
