Twenty-five years ago in this month, Camp David became the setting for an unprecedented episode of American diplomacy-and entered the lexicon as a near synonym for high-level peacemaking-when Jimmy Carter, Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian president Anwar El-Sadat gathered there for a tense and grueling 13 days.

A. Twenty-five years ago in this month,
B. Twenty-five years ago this month,
C. In this month, twenty-five years previously,
D. In this month, twenty-five years previous,
E. It was twenty-five years ago to this month,

25 years ago, on this month, we had the same amount of rainfall.
25 years ago, on this same date, I was born. Today is my birthday.

I would write this as one of the option(correct one..I mean)
Ofcourse this is based on the knowledge I have on english.

you can't make this analogy -- "date" and "month" don't take the same idioms. for example, "on" is almost always used with dates or days of the week; however, "on" is never used with months.
do not expect idiomatic constructions to work the same way with different words.

let me repeat my usual question...
WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM?
IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE SOURCE, WHY ARE YOU USING IT?

most third-party verbal questions, especially SC questions, are HORRIBLE. do not use them if you don't know the source.

ah!! this is a random one. I just found it in some word file i found over net. I know what you gonna say next. lol.
that's ok, but the point is other questions on that random file were repeat of og/verbal review/gmat prep.. So may be even this question is of some good source..
If you feel this question is important from GMAT point of view, then please explain. I am totally confused on this one.
Thanks.

it's not important; there's no precedent in official problems.
