Tutor wanted: Los Angeles area

Does anyone have a personal reference to a tutor in the Los Angeles area?

I'm familiar with some of the schools in the area but am hoping to deal outside of the institution(s) solely for the sake of cost$$.

I appreciate anyone's advice/referral.
