Hello,

Like many of us, i would like to attend GMAT in order to be applied by one of the Top Universities in Europe (Stockholm University is the main target). I am an Industrial Engineer, having around 4 years work experience in multinational companies.

Because of having a low GPA, i have to get a high GMAT score. My target is 670+, but will do everything in order to get 700+. In Turkey (where i was born and still living), our education system makes it easy to have high GMAT score. Especially for quantitative section, i am sure to have at most one or two errors, but will try for the perfect.

What i am afraid is the verbal section. I know that i am not good at memorizing the vocabularies, so this is my weaknesses. I would work on it.

As being interested in GMAT for around one week, i would like to advise what i have done and what i am going to do. Then my questions will be followed, for which your comments will be most appreciated.

What i have done last week:

1. I have bought Kaplan GMAT Premier Program, 2009 (Book & CD-ROM) (Paperback) and The Official Guide for GMAT Review, 11th Edition (Paperback) .

2. I got "Master the GMAT" by ARCO

3. I have downloaded the most used vocabularies, some exams and other materials that will be useful.

4. I have had an exam for only quantitative section, with 6 errors in 37 questions. It is not cool, but if you consider that i haven't had such an exam for around 6 years, it is okay

5. I tried the verbal exam, but was tired so left it to be solved tomorrow. This is just to see "where i am".

What i am going to do:

1. I will start with official guide at the same time having the same subjects on "Master the Gmat". And solve the questions on both.

2. After finishing these two, will start to Kaplan.

3. Having Gmat Exams with a frequency of "1 in two weeks". When i finish the first two books, the frequency will be more often.

4. Try to memorize the vocabularies.

My questions are:

1. I have heard & read that the Manhattans are awesome. But when i look, there are lots of Manhattan books. I think, the ones that i heard has membership for 6 online exams. Could you please give the Amazon link for that book?

2. Again, i have read that Cracking the GMAT with DVD, 2009 Edition (Graduate Test Prep) (Paperback) is also good. Do you suggest me to order it ? Please also comment for Kaplan GMAT 800, 2008-2009 Edition (Kaplan Gmat 800) (Paperback) . As i have Kaplan GMAT Premier Program, 2009 (Book & CD-ROM) (Paperback) on hand, i just wonder if they have the same questions.

3. Could you please suggest as much as free online exams (also the ones with fee)? And also, same for the questions.

4. I know that this thing has a great algorithm and you can not know what you will get if you have 10 errors on verbal and 10 for quantitavie. But, more or less, could you please let me having your comments about how many errors at most must be done in verbal & quantitavise section in order to get around 670 or 700. If anyone got around that scores, could you please share the number of your errors per section?

I am feeling just like a bullet, waiting to be fired...
