Hi guys!
Hope everyone's well.
Would appreciate some insights here as I'm new in the GMAT & MBA race. I'm writing my GMAT in a week and expecting around 620-650 ( as I haven't done much prep and I'm weak at Quant) but I have an excellent professional profile.
4 years working at Google, India plus great academic records.
I'm gunning the top b-schools of Ireland, Trinity College and Michael Smurfit. I know that both of these are not even in the top 50 b-schools of the world but I'm not really looking at the rankings as much as I'm looking at job prospects after the MBA. (Dublin is host to google, facebook, twitter, amazon and a whole host of smaller companies) and you get a one year work permit
Both of these schools offer the 1yr MBA at a reasonable 30k Euros. Trinity has even expressed interest in having me.
Wait, I'm convinving you all to consider more than I'm expressing any real concern myself! LOl so here are my questions:
-Has anyone studied at either?
-Any idea about career prospects in Europe for marketing?
-Do college rankings really matter that much when it comes to placements?
-What other colleges could I be looking with a GMAT of say 650 and 4 years of work ex in Google?
Would appreciate any helpful insights or tips.
Thanks in advance.
