Hello Prac ,

Here is the explanation :-

Line 27 says that technology will eliminate live performances .Question 3. asks which option would WEAKEN the stated effect of new technology, hence we need to find an option which suggests that technology is in some way actually bringing more crowd to live performances .

A] Irrelevant
B] Strengthen
C] Stengthen
D] WEAKEN [Correct]
E] Irrelevant

Question 4. The use of Steadicam is basically telling us that technology is actually helping and adding up with the traditional art and not hampering it , so we need to choose an option that is mentioning about the +ve points of technology

A] Irrelevant
B] It is mentioned in the passage, but its tells about the nature of technology (complex or simple)
C] Irrelevant
D] Irrelevant
E] Clearly tells that technology does no harm to traditional art form but actually enhances it.

What is the difficulty level of the passage i mean the GMAT range eg 500- 600 or 600-700 ?

@AIMGMAT
In Q3,
The Passage says that if the use of technology eliminates live performance then the relationship between performer and audience will be abolished.
It doesnt say that less people will come view the live performane

But what can i say , the OA is something else and i am dejected

In 4 too, The question of hampering is introduced in the 2nd para.I thought the 1st para is neutral

Why is 3 not A.

The passage says the relationship between the performer and audience will be abolished.

Option A says On the contrary, the audience will become more knowledgeable about their artists. Doesn't this undermine the opponents position.
