1) The last sentence of 1st para:
Parties were partial by definition...public good & artistocracy...opposing political interest
justifies E

time: 1:33
2) Ketcham is so strongly commmitted...underestimates the advantages of their decline
IMO C; time - 2:30
3) though marked C, post analysis I should have selected
D; time: 3 mins
4) Classical leadership is based on 18c England. The last line of passage says 'freedom associated with opposing political parties'. Since, opposing political parties were not part of classical views, implies, freedom of speech etc were not part of classical thought.
IMO D; time-00:53

reading: 4:30
Pls let me know your views

Patanjali

Guys this RC is from GMATPrep. It appeared at # 34 when I was striving to complete the test on time. I read the passage again, and I realized that I messed up(totally opposite view) the whole idea under time crunch. All correct answers look good now. Thanks again.
