Can an admission consultant/MBA student list top schools (top ten schools, if it's not too much to ask for :D) for Healthcare Management? I am interested in the list for top Healthcare programs than the rankings.

Well I think it's that with deadlines four days away and the new year people are miiighty busy!

On to your question:
Wharton, Fuqua and Kellogg all have veeeeery strong MBA programs which incorporate a health care emphasis. Wharton has a Health Care Management major, with faculty from the Business, Medical and Nursing schools of the University of Pennsylvania. Kellogg has the Health Industry Management (HIM), really one of the top in the US. Fuqua had a great med school and is near Research Triangle Park, a heaven for healthcare job seekers. You also have Sloan,(Biomedical Enterprise Program) Haas (Healthcare certificate) and Columbia. IF this is relevant you can also look into double degree programs that incorporate a Healtcare program with an MBA for example an MBA-MHA, or a MBA-MPH.

I don't see many official and comprehensive rankings as well. US new is the ony legitimate source, but not much information there.


I'm interested in Healthcare Management as well (top 10 schools). I'm trying to evaulate if it is worth it though. I already am a well paid healthcare professional, looking into what diffrent avenues this track can open up for me, as well as get a good idea of the pay scale is. Are there any resources that I can delve into such details? The Fuqua website is somewhat comprehensive but of course it is going to be a little biased.
