hi

My Profile:
GMAT : 720
Grad : Engg. 8.3/10 {From one of the top 10 engg. schools in INDIA}
Work ex: Working in NTPC Ltd.{India's largest power producer} since Jul,2009
Age : 25 {unmarried,male}

Did my 10th and 12th from D.P.S, a prestigious school in india with 88% and 75%
Did graduation from 2005-2009;
Joined NTPC as an engineer, worked for an year as engineer incharge for coal-handling plant at a thermal power plant.
Then moved to a green-field project with the same company as a commissioning engineer.
Working since then with variety of agencies{Siemens,germany Alstom,USA TPE,Russia etc.} as a part of commissioning work.
Recently promoted to assistance manager .

Apart from these details, i would also like to mention that financing an mba is a great concern from me.
Would highly appreciate suggestions, on which schools to apply.

US is definitely a priority, but as i mentioned : financing being a concern, i won't mind europe either ... until its a top b school.

Hi,

You have a good GMAT score and a decent GPA. I would like to touch upon your concern about financing the MBA. Unlike public policy courses, there are few fellowships in MBA programs. If you get admission in a good school it will not be easy to get a fellowship and even if you get it, it may not be substantial. In all likelihood, you will have to depend on self-financing/ loans etc. All the best.
