Try as I might, I got a horrendously small amount of sleep last night (very nervewracked). So ended up very pleased with how my Q+V went today, but worried that I wasn't as cogent during the AWA at the beginning. I do a lot of writing in my professional life and I'm mentioning that on my applications, but I worry that if I get like a <4.5 on my AWA, places I apply will just think I lucked out with the rest. Which, given the sheer amount of studying I did, was very much not the case.

How much of a negative effect will a marginal AWA have on a high total score?
