Too late to work with you on Round 1?

by dbaGMAT123 » Fri Aug 31, 2007 4:41 pm
I am interested in applying for round 1 @ Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. However, I am wondering whether there is enough time to work through the process with you. In other words, if I pay the money, could we do put together a good application by round 1.

What I Have Done Thus Far:
-Taken the GMAT
-Spent about 100 hours online researching schools
-Identified good people for letters of recommendation

What I Think I Need to Do:
-Work with you on a application plan
-Visit schools
-Write application
-Get referrals
-Request information from schools

Any advice would be appreciated.

dbaGMAT123,

Please contact Stacy Blackman Consulting via phone or email to set up some time to discuss your personal situation:

In the meantime, I would ask your recommenders to start on the letters - since that is the most uncontrollable aspect of the process. You can put in the time yourself to get essays done by round 1 deadlines, but worrying about someone else getting the letters done will be stressful.

Good luck!
