To consider or not to consider MBA

by parulmahajan89 » Sat Aug 25, 2012 6:40 pm
Hi
I graduated in 2011 with degree in Management;concentration in Human Resources. I dont have full time work experience but considering going back to school. I know lot of schools now days accept recent graduates. But I am still in dilemma whether to think about MBA right now or not. Also I am not sure if attending graduate school will pay me off as dont have enough work expereince

Please advise
Thank you

Typically, b-schools look for candidates with at least a couple of years of experience. That is not to say that a lack of full-time work experience cannot get you to a good MBA program. There are rare cases of this happening and typically those candidates are "special" e.g. athletes and the like.
