Been following the forums since a few days now and I must say its great to see such an active community here!
Well, cutting the long story short, I intend to give my GMAT in June-July (Depending upon what kind of score I start getting in my practice tests). As of now, am too scared to even attempt a diagnostic test thanks to my history with Maths which has been in a miserable state since high school.
Now, most of the suggestions I have seen out here to tackle gmat and handling maths refers to going through the OG and other books such as Kaplan. I have gone through these books and while they have sufficient problems, am still having difficulty with concepts and the explanations of answers which are given. Such being the case, sometimes I get stuck doing only a few problems everyday trying to understand the explanations on my own.
So is there any other way in which I can literally start from scratch and redo the entire Math from basics concepts on diff topics. One of my past professors suggested me to buy the school text books and start from there.. Anyone tried that ? Or is there any other way to really improve your Maths from a very below average level to something which can help me score 700+ ( I know I sound a bit ambitious but I think I can do it if I get the right structure in place )
